Vice President

Casper Schouten is a Vice President in the Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency group at Teknos, where he leads several key initiatives for the team. He plays an integral role in business development and marketing for the firm’s digital asset practice and is actively involved in delivering valuation advisory services to clients in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector.

In his role, Casper plays a central part in driving the growth and strategic direction of the digital asset group. He contributes extensively to Teknos’ content strategy, authoring articles and materials that address valuation challenges in the digital asset space. His work supports the firm’s broader marketing initiatives, including online publications, podcasts, webinars, and in-person events. He is actively involved in the digital asset community through his membership in organizations such as the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance (WSBA), Web3Finance Club, and the Blockchain Association of the Cayman Islands (BACI).

Before joining Teknos, Casper held positions at several leading valuation firms, including Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps), KPMG, and Berkeley Research Group, progressing from Analyst to Manager. He also has experience in real estate valuation from his time at PwC.

Casper has worked on a wide range of valuation engagements for purposes including tax and financial reporting, fairness opinions, portfolio valuations, and litigation support. He earned his BS in Economics & Business and his MS in Finance from the University of Amsterdam.
